Triple-T is a locally led humanitarian and development organization dedicated to protecting civilians and strengthening vulnerable communities affected by armed conflict, disasters and displacement in Myanmar.
Triple-T operates across Myanmar particularly in conflict-affected and non-SAC controlled areas where humanitarian access remains limited. Our interventions prioritize communities facing displacement, insecurity, disaster impacts and protection risks.
Triple-T implements integrated humanitarian and community resilience programs designed to protect lives, respond to emergencies and strengthen local capacities in conflict-affected communities.
Due to the momentum of a depression forming in the Bay of Bengal and a strong monsoon, continuous heavy rain has fallen in Rakhine State from July 4 until today. Because of the river flooding, the water levels of the Kaladan and Lay Mro rivers have exceeded their critical danger marks. Driven by the heavy rainfall and rising river and creek levels, flooding is occurring in at least 8 townships, including Paletwa, Kyauktaw, Mrauk-U, and Minbya. Consequently, no fewer than 70,000 people are facing the dangers of floods and landslides.
Triple-T is currently providing emergency aid and support to about 10 villages in Minbya Township, one of the areas facing floods and landslides where humanitarian assistance has not yet arrived.
Every Donations helps meet the emergency needs of each individual affected by floods. Triple-T is accepting donations for the flooding. You can contact and donate via Messenger on Facebook.
